| DATASAFE
offers two different storage options: |

This option is best for clients with small volumes of media. Containers can be sealed or locked to provide a
higher level of security. Should you choose
to rotate entire containers, you would list the container code on the Submittal Form. Per
the instructions listed, the container will be cycled back to the customer either as
specified or when the customer calls for its return.
The container remains closed and locked (optional) while in DATASAFE's possession. |
| The
container used must be designed for the type of media stored. |
| For
example, DAT, 3480 and DLT tapes may not be stored in containers designed for reel tapes. |
| Storage
charges are based on the maximum number of media items which can be stored in the
container. |

This
storage option is recommended for 9 track reel tapes, 3480, 3490 and 3590 cartridges and
large inventories (more than 60 tapes) of smaller media.
The open rack option is best used for large volumes of rotational tapes or for long
term archival storage. |
| For
sizable off-site libraries of reel tapes or DAT, DLT, Quarter Inch and 3480 cartridge, the
open rack monthly charge is based on the number of slots used. |
| Comprehensive
inventory detail is provided at the slot level. |
